BankGiro Loterij and the Van Abbemuseum

Since 2007 the Van Abbemuseum is a BankGiro Loterij beneficiary and one of the cultural institutions that is supported by the BankGiro Loterij . During a period of 5 years, the Van Abbemuseum receives a yearly contribution of € 200.000, which the museum uses for the collection and for enhancing participation of the public. In October 2011 the BankGiro Loterij announced that it will continue the cooperation for another 5 years.

Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 17:00. The museum is closed on Monday, with the exception of public holidays. The museum is closed on New Year's Day, King's Day and Christmas Day. The Van Abbemuseum is open until 21:00 on the first Thursday evening of the month, admission to the museum is free from 17:00 on those nights. The museum cafe is also open until 21:00 on these evenings. We offer an internet connection via WIFI in the whole museum.
