Exposition scholars Strabrecht College

In Juxtaposition is an unique exhibition that opens on Thursday May 13.  Around 100 VMBO-t, HAVO and VWO students of the Strabrecht College in Geldrop show their graduation projects that they made for their visual arts and handicrafts examination.

The students had a guided tour through the museum and took a look at the collection online. They all chose a work from the Van Abbemuseum collection and made their own visual response to this work.

The results are on view until 20 May 2010 in the Studio in the basement of the museum.

Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 17:00. The museum is closed on Monday, with the exception of public holidays. The museum is closed on New Year's Day, King's Day and Christmas Day. The Van Abbemuseum is open until 21:00 on the first Thursday evening of the month, admission to the museum is free from 17:00 on those nights. The museum cafe is also open until 21:00 on these evenings. We offer an internet connection via WIFI in the whole museum.
