- Lee Lozano WIN FIRST DONT LAST WIN LAST DONT CARE A publication for the exhibition lee lozano – WIN FIRST DONT LAST WIN LAST DONT CARE: 08/10/2006 - 07/01/2007 Van Abbemuseum, 15/06/ - 27/08/2006 Kunsthalle Basel, has been published by Schwabe ag, in cooperation with the kunsthalle Basel and the Van Abbemuseum, with special thanks to the Luma foundation.
- Living Archives collaboration with Kunsthaus Bregenz, Austria Living Archives is a collaboration between Kunsthaus Bregenz and the Van Abbemuseum is a joint consideration of the significance of archives and collections building on the experience built up in Eindhoven throughout Play Van Abbe. The museum was invited by the directors of this remarkable Peter Zumthor designed Kunsthaus in Austria to show exhibition models developed here to a new Austrian audience. Taking elements from Van Abbemuseum’s curator Diana Franssen's Living Archive series and from Play Van Abbe Part 3, the exhibition will include works by Michal Heiman, Hannah Hurtzig, and Katrin Mayer. The selection from the Living Archive – an exhibition series that took place regularly at the Van Abbemuseum - has been made to introduce the knowledge constructed through our series. Triggered by the alternative oral histories about the museum and an understanding of museum archives as a treasury of ideas about the future, the Living Archive acts as an active working memory.
- Lynda Benglis Monography The Van Abbemuseum is proud to present the retrospective monograph about the life and work of the American artist Lynda Benglis. The book offers a complete overview of her work, with numerous texts, an interview and a complete chronology.
- Maria Eichhorn Aktiengesellschaft The publication entitled Maria Eichhorn Aktiengesellschaft forms part of the presentation of the work which is on show as a Plug In at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven from June 2007 on.
- Mladen Stilinović Artist’s Books The Van Abbemuseum has issued a publication in collaboration with Platform Garanti, Centre for Contemporary Art, which specifically addresses the art books by Stilinović.

- Pavel Büchler Absentmindedwindowgazing The exhibition 02/09/2006 - 15/04/2007 is accompanied by the new publication Absentmindedwindowgazing bringing together a series of overlapping texts about Büchler’s work and a thorough documentation of the exhibition.

- Plug In to Play This publication contains an overview of the Plug In and Living Archive presentations with images, short informative texts, discussions with the makers and a look into the future. The book shows the experimental journey that has lead the museum from Plug In and Living Archive to the new 18-month project Play Van Abbe. Play Van Abbe consists of exhibitions, projects, performances, lectures, discussions, and new ways to explore critical reflection by the audience on the relations between art and society.

- Stanley Brouwn This book was published on the occasion of the solo exhibition of Stanley Brouwn in the Van Abbemuseum 22/01/ -17/04/2005
- SUPERFLEX / FREE SOL LEWITT The book features elaborate documentation of the FREE SOL LEWITT project, produced at the invitation of the Van Abbemuseum by Danish artist collective SUPERFLEX. SUPERFLEX organised the reproduction of an artwork by the American artist Sol LeWitt. A metal workshop was created in the Van Abbemuseum where copies were produced and distributed for free to the public. The copied work is ‘Untitled (wall structure), 1972 and was acquired by the Van Abbemuseum in 1977.
- The Copyist #1 A Play Van Abbe Journal The typical magazine, sold at the typical news stand, at a typical airport has inspired this first edition of the Play Van Abbe journal – this one is entitled, The Copyist and has been collaboratively created by the Van Abbemuseum with Metahaven.
