IN EVERY CHILD AN ARTIST

Are you between six and ten years old? Do you enjoy looking at art works and especially making a few of your own? Every Saturday afternoon from 14.00 - 16.00 is Children's Art Club.

Along with other children, you go into the museum and look at works of art. There is a different theme every time, and when you're tired of looking you can have a go at making your own art work. Let your imagination run wild! You’ll soon discover you have what it takes to be an artist. And, of course, bring your friends. It’s double the fun.

Two museum teachers supervise the Children’s Art Club every time. The theme changes from week to week. A maximum of 20 children can take part. The cost of each meeting is EUR 6 per child.

Would you like to go to the Children’s Art Club on a different day from Saturday? If so, get together with your friends and come to the Van Abbemuseum. Extra Children’s Art Club meetings have room for 10 children and cost EUR 100 per meeting.

Is your birthday coming up? What do you think of the idea of holding a special party in the museum? Come to the museum for a special Children’s Art Club meeting and follow it up with a party in the Museum Café. There’ll be plenty of delicious things to eat and drink together with your friends.

The options are:

Arrangement A: €135
The Museum Café will set up a special party table with drinks for everyone. And the birthday cake isn’t just there to eat. Decorate the cake artistically first, before you take a slice. On the table you will also find a present from the museum for the birthday boy or girl.

Arrangement B: €150
You will get a specially laid party table with two pancakes each for everyone, with sugar and syrup. And, of course, a delicious drink goes along with them. Just wait and see what kind of present you get!

Arrangement C: €160
Partygoers with a healthy appetite will enjoy the potato chips and chicken nuggets in this arrangement. Of course, there is a tasty drink to go with them. And then it’s time to unpack that present from the museum!
