Amsterdam, Andriesse & Eyck Galerie, 17-06-2021, 31-07-2021. - Groepstentoonstelling toont werken op papier van Natasja Kensmil, Ellen Gallagher, Marlene Dumas, Kara Walker. - This exhibition brings together drawings by four committed painters, each of whom has developed a visual language in which references to distant and/or near history, power, oppression and human issues come into tension with the present. Whether the visual elements are derived from pop culture, music, history, art history, mysticism or a mixture thereof, the artworks offer a new and rich perspective on entrenched thinking systems.
