The auditorium is an ideal venue, designed by Maarten van Severen. The auditorium has a stage of 2.75 x 5 meters and the most up to date technical facilities such as lectern, internet, sound and light equipment. The auditorium is very suitable for briefings and presentations.

Capacity auditorium:
Theatre style - 115 guests
(80 in the room and 35 on the balcony)


The studio is located in the heart of the museum and has a permanent set-up with stands. The room is equipped with internet, presentation, light and sound equipment. Great for presentations, debates, courses and workshops.

Capacity studio:
Stands - 125 persons
Carré / U shape - 20 persons


The classroom is a creative room with basic facilities. The classroom is equipped with internet access, a projector, and screen. Ideal for seminars, team meetings, brainstorming sessions and meetings.

Capacity classroom:
Theatre style - 40 people
Carré / U shape - 20 people


The library is a special venue in our museum, designed by Maarten van Severen. It has internet acces, a projector and screen. The library is suitable for small workshops and presentations.

The libary is currently not available for group reservations

Normal capacity library:
Theatre style - 25 people
Carré / U shape - 18 people

Conference room

The conference room is suitable for small meetings and conferences, adjacent to the atrium of the museum cafe. It has internet access and an interactive touchscreen with built-in PC and external connectivity.

Museum Café

Karel 1 museumcafé and the adjoining terrace is designed by the Belgian designer Erwin Muer. On the mezzanine of the museum's cafe a seating and lounge area furnished, suitable for relaxed meetings or to enjoy a business lunch.
