Description

Franz Erhard Walther designed fifty-eight individual objects in cloth, comprising a ‘work set’. The objects are completed through the visitor’s use.

#36: Politisch (Political)

This working object for four participants comes in two sizes. Both are lightweight pieces of cloth shaped in the form of a cross, with openings for the participants’ heads at each of the four ends. One piece of the cloth has long swaths to extend along the legs, the other short. The difference in shape and size influences verbal and non-verbal interaction among participants. The two objects have different effects.
