Description

For the project 'NSK Garda', Slovenian artist collective IRWIN collaborates with the national armies of Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Czech Republic, among others. The soldiers are asked to stand guard under an NSK flag in their own uniforms. 'NSK State in Time' is an imaginary state that has issues its own passports, but is independent from concepts such as territory, ethnicity, or boundary. 'NSK Garda' and 'NSK State in Time' were developed in the 1990s during the collapse of Yugoslavia.
