Museum Dice Game

Are you visiting the Van Abbemuseum with your family? In that case you may be interested in playing the Museum Dice Game. Find a room with interesting art works, throw your dice and answer questions with different categories, like ‘Join the investigation!’, ‘Are you in?’ and ‘Imagine’. The game consists of a dice with figures and a card with questions in the different categories, which helps you to interact with the art more easily. Roll yourself through the museum!

You can borrow the Museum Dice Game for free at the cash register. The game is suitable for children of four years and older.

Theatre Tour – Yuki and the Curse of the Disappearing Artworks.

The Van Abbemuseum is threatened with the disappearance of images, and the colours of the paintings are fading. It seems the artworks are cursed. To save the artworks the museum asked the Japanese Manga-Girl Yuki to help. Yuki has ancient powers that can expel the curse. To do this, you have to look at the paintings very carefully. You can help Yuki to achieve this. Can you get enough points to expel the curse? And will Yuki get her reflection back? Yuki takes you to the exhibition The Making of Modern Art. The tour is accessible for the whole family. This tour is in Dutch.
