10th Singing Demonstration Van Abbemuseumkoor

18/02/2018
15:00 - 16:30

The Van Abbe Museum Choir invites guest choirs and guest musicians to perform together during the 10th Singing Demonstration (10e Zangmanifestatie). The performance relates to the exhibition 'Who owns the street?' (Van wie is de straat?) in the tower of the Van Abbemuseum.

Syrian refugees Mostafa & Friends will perform their Arabic songs in the tower's cellar, next to Jan Rothuizen's award winning artwork 'Refugee Republic'. The Van Abbe Museum Choir will sing their songs of protest on the first floor of the tower, accompanying a work by bureau Crimson Architectural Historians called 'Do you hear the people sing?' In the top of the tower, the choir Otherwise will perform their songs.

You need a museum entrance ticket to enjoy the performances. If you have an Eindhoven City Pass, you get a 50% discount.
