The clients, volunteers and employees of care institution Archipel have attended workshops in the museum and at Archipel locations during spring 2016. Together they worked on creating their own works of art, inspired by the Van Abbe collection. A professional jury selected 17 works of art which can be seen in the museum from 11 May 2017.
continuation of previous succesful cooperation
In both 2014 and 2015 the Van Abbemuseum asked the Archipel employees to create paintings together with their clients based on the works of the museum's collection. With great enthousiasm, the clients worked on their paintings and a selection was exhibited in the museum.
