Art with Archipel Artworks made by the elderly

21/01/2016 - 31/01/2016

inspired by the Van Abbemuseum collection

Clients, volunteers and employees of healthcare facility Archipel have particpated in workshops in the museum and at Archipel locations. Together they made 38 artworks inspired by the Van Abbemuseum collection. A professional jury selected 18 pieces which will be showed in the museum. The exhibition will open on Thursday 21 January at 3.30 pm.

Continuation of previous successful collaboration

In 2014 the Van Abbemuseum aproached the Archipel employees to create, together with clients, paintings based on the collection of the museum. This was a challenge they liked! Over 60 clients worked to create great paintings, of which 26 artworks were presented in the museum.
