DOCFeed 2018 guest at the Van Abbe
The Eindhoven Documentary festival DOCfeed celebrates its lustrum with a pre-opening on Thursday 1 February at the Van Abbemuseum. Two documentaries by director Rob Rombout, Joost de Vries and The Azores of Madredeus, will be shown at 7.30 p.m. in the auditorium.
Pre-opening
Wat: festive pre-opening DOCfeed 2018, two films, in presence of director Rob Rombout and writer Joost de Vries.
When: Thursday 1 February, entry 19.00, start film 19.30
Where: Auditorium Van Abbemuseum entrance via the museum café, Stratumsedijk 2.

These two films will be on show in the auditorium until 25 February, the end of the DOCfeed festival.
During DOCfeed, 22-25 Feb
During the festival itself - from 22 to 25 February - three other documentaries by Rombout will be shown in the museum, on the 2nd floor of the Collection Building:
- Transatlantic QE2, 52’, the last transatlantic liner QE2 35 mm, (1992)
- Nord Express, 52’, the train linking Paris to Moscow since 1896, (1990)
- Amsterdam Stories USA, 360’, a “road-movie “ crossing the USA, from east to west* Rogier van Eck (2012)
