This summer you can go on a journey of discovery with your whole family through the exhibition of Chinese artist Qiu Zhijie. You can pick up your free Family Tour at the cash register in the museum. This tour is - like many works by the artist - designed as a map. With the map you will travel along a lot of special artworks. These artworks are the starting point for fun assignments and sharing stories about your own life and dreams. At the same time, you will learn more about the artist and his work!
The Family Tour is suitable for children from 6 years old. You can get the Family Tour for free at the cash register in the museum. (excluding museum entrance)
ABOUT QIU ZHIJIE
Qiu Zhijie was born in China and now lives in Beijing, the capita cityl of this big country. He is an artist, but also a teacher, and father of two daughters. At an early age he was interested in Chinese history and traditions, but also in the stories from the rest of the world. He therefore travels a lot. And he collects many things; which he sometimes uses in his artworks. He is very good in calligraphy; a Chinese technique for painting characters with brush and ink. But he also makes art with cameras and the computer. The colors and materials he uses are fun to look at.
