In occasion of the newly opened exhibition The Otolith Group: Xenogenesis, the artists Anjalika Sagar and Kodwo Eshun will participate in an Artist Talk on Sunday 26 May, at 13:30.

The moderator for the talk will be Annie Fletcher, curator of the exhibition, former chief curator at the Van Abbemuseum and current director at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, and they will be accompanied by guests Beth Citron (Rubin Museum) and Rizvana Bradley (Yale University).

Beth Citron is curator of Modern and Contemporary art at the Rubin Museum in New York City. Her exhibitions have included Chitra Ganesh (2018), Genesis Breyer P-Orridge: Try to Altar Everything (2016), Francesco Clemente: Inspired by India (2014), and the three-part exhibition series Modernist Art from India (2011–13). Rizvana Bradley is Assistant Professor of the History of Art and African-American Studies at Yale, and has a PhD from Duke University. Bradley’s research and teaching focus on the study of film and media at the intersections of literature, poetry, contemporary art and performance.  Her scholarly approach to artistic practices in the fields of African-American cultural production, as well as the wider black diaspora expands and develops frameworks for thinking across these contexts, specifically in relation to global and transnational artistic and cinematic practices.
