As the exhibition Black or White comes to an end, Erin La Cour will give a lecture on the subject of this exhibition. She will explain the term comics and discusses the changing status of this art form and its cultural value.

Dr. Erin La Cour is a docent in the English Department of the University of Amsterdam. She is a member of the Nordic Network of Comics Research (NNCORE) and an editor for the Scandinavian Journal of Comic Art (SJoCA).
