Let's Talk About Art Young Art Crowd x Buro Kato presents

01/03/2018
18:30 - 21:00

LET'S TALK ABOUT ART!

In collaboration with the Young Art Crowd and Buro Kato, the Van Abbemuseum offers a special tour through the exhibition Rasheed Araeen: A retrospective.

Groups will tour around the museum, each with a camera and a story from Rasheed’s life.

IT WILL BE AN ADVENTURE

Together with your group you will analyse the exhibition and look for artworks that support the story of Rasheed Araeen’s life you have been told. Take a photo of the artworks with the camera and discuss how this artwork supports the story with your group.

After your wandering through the exhibition the groups will rejoin and discuss the stories they have been discovering and the artwork they chose, using the photos as support. What made you choose these artworks?

DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES

After hearing all those different stories we are going to talk about the different perspectives on one subject. Kaila and Tove from Buro Kato will talk about how they deal with these different perspectives in their work as social designers, for example in designing neighborhood contact for refugees.
