Saturday 19 September sees the opening of three new projects within the collection presentation The Collection Now.

The programme of this Saturday:
- 15.00: Artist talk between Van Abbe director Charles Esche and Chinese artist Li Mu. Location: education room.
In the project artist Li Mu and the villagers of his hometown Qiuzhuang were copying artworks from the Van Abbe collection and displaying them in the houses and streets of the village.

- 16.00: Performance of the musical piece made by the Italian artist Francesca Grilli and performed by the family Wesselink de Barrientos. Location: new building.
The Eindhoven family Wesselink de Barrientos - consisting of grandmother Anneke, mother Mirjam, father Rodrigo and son Gustavo (from 8 to 82 years) - will bring an ode to several works in the Van Abbe collection. This is the first performance in a series of eight performances over a period of two years.

Another addition to the collection exhibition is the presentation Performance Art in Eastern-Europe.
