Performance 'Capture the white - Holi colour festival' - Sachi Miyachi

The fourth performance by artist Sachi Miyachi is based on the Indian festival of Holi, a Hindu festival of colours and love. This ancient ritual celebrates the ending of the winter season. Its purpose is to recover oneself from emotional impurities, to welcome spring, and to bring luck for the harvest. Miyachi will transform the Holi festival into a special performance by taking essential elements, colours and legends from the original context. After the performance Miyachi will give you a recipe to take home and to perform the ritual yourself.
