Peter Liversidge - Surface MailLibrary exhibition
For a long time the artist Peter Liversidge sends out objects from different places in the world. These are delivered to the postoffice, unpacked, with postage stamps attached and the address written on the objects. One of the recipients is Peter Foolen. Over time he received some 120 objects by post, varying from a ruler to a floor mop. These objects will now be shown in the library of the Van Abbemuseum. Also on display is the series of Proposal Books by Peter Liversidge in which he collected his proposals to many international art institutions.
