Singing Event the Van Abbemuseum choir invites

17/12/2017
15:00 - 16:30

On Sunday 17 December between 15:00-16.30 the 9th singing event will take place in the tower of the Van Abbemuseum near the exhibition of Who owns the street? Every 2 months the Van Abbemuseum choir organises a singing event where they invite guest singers and musicians.

What will this afternoon look like?

Two Syrian refugees will perform in the tower's cellar, next to Jan Rothuizen's award winning artwork 'Refugee Republic'. The Van Abbe Museum Choir will sing their songs of protest on the first floor of the tower, accompanying a work by bureau Crimson Architectural Historians called 'Do you hear the people sing?' In the top of the tower, the Eindhoven chamber choir Allegrezza will perform songs with Baltic and Russian origins.

You need a museum entrance ticket to enjoy the performances. If you have an Eindhoven City Pass, you get a 50% discount.
