Soundmanifestation - The Van Abbemuseum Choir with Hella Hertogs and Rianne Wilbers
Soundmanifestation The Van Abbemuseum Choir with Hella Hertogs and Rianne Wilbers
Sunday October 20nd the Van Abbemuseum Choir in collaboration with artist Hella Hertogs and singer Rianne Wilbers will present the first edition of the Sound Concert series. These concerts are a place to musically come together in the tower of the museum in and around the Woensel Supertoll!
The project Woensel Supertoll! by Tijs Rooijakkers connected hundreds of people in Eindhoven and literally set them in motion. The 'spinning' toll represents movement from within. The Sound Concerts, an idea from Hella Hertogs, are a perfect fit for this special installation.
This Sound Manifestation is the first in a series of Sound Concerts and admission is free in combination with a museum ticket.
The Van Abbemuseum Choir was founded in 2013 by the current conductor Willy de Rooij. The choir is made up of volunteers who work at the museum as hosts and hostesses, as well as singers who embrace this unique combination of art and music.
