Thursday evening open - Spoken Word + Wine Tasting
Thursday evening open Spoken Word + Wine Tasting
7 pm – 9 pm
On 17 December, ‘Mensen Zeggen Dingen’ is performing in Eindhoven for the first time, and we are delighted that they chose the museum for this! Mensen Zeggen Dingen is a collective of Dutch artists from all over the Netherlands who climb stages with only a microphone and a fountain of words. Since 18 months this caravan of poetry is travelling through the country, performing at festivals, in bars and in churches. This past year they were on stage at Solar Weekend Festival, Zwarte Cross and Pukkelpop. Be prepared for comedy, mindblowing recitals and high level doggerel.
Wine & Art
On this last open Thursday of the year you get the opportunity to combine two of the finest things in life in the museumroom: art and wine! Discover how the taste of a certain wine helps interpret the artwork. Treat your tastebuds to 4 different wines and see for youself if the Merlot grape matches the exuberance of Alptekin’s Self-Heterotopia. In one session of 45 minutes you taste 4 different wines with 2 different artworks.
For the wine tasting workshop you pay a supplement fee on top of the normal entrance price. If you are a friend of the museum, a YAC member, a student, or if you have a city card, a museumcard or Rembrandtcard, the supplement fee is €6,-.
If you don’t have any discount and pay the full price for the museum entrance, the supplement fee is €4,-.
Make a reservation here, we only have place for 15 participants per workshop. The workshop is only available in Dutch.
