The Van Abbemuseum has a great collection of art films. On this evening we will focus on the raise of performance art and art films from the 60’s to the early 80’s. On the panel we have Moderator Olle Lundin, Curator Diana Franssen, Queer Sociologist Alice Venir and Gabriel Ann Maher. The panel will give a sneak peak at some of the movies from this period and give hints to what they could mean. We will touch on topics ranging from humour to sexual expression, from to the male gaze to social constructionism. And of course there will be popcorn!
