Thursday evening open - a variety of creative and inspiring events

Every first Thursday evening of the month, the Van Abbemuseum organizes a variety of creative and inspiring events. This time Sannety will join us for a concert in the dark. 

Concert in the dark

Sannety, has made an organic electronic composition inspired by Julius Eastman’s work and inspiring personality. Eastman’s work, The Third Part of Measure, is now on show in the Xenogenesis exhibition. The concert will be held in the dark. Where the listener, devoid of visual stimuli, is more able to immerse themselves completely in the world of sound. This is a visual vacuum from which all external points of reference are removed. The concert is free of charge with a museumticket.

Every first Thursday of the month, access to the museum is free for students, CJP-holders and CKE-card holders.
