Van Abbemuseum vitrine: selection Marc Mulders - at Piet Hein Eek
Van Abbemuseum vitrine: selection Marc Mulders at Piet Hein Eek
Marc Mulders' work consists mostly of oil paintings in which he follows the course of nature, namely the eternal cycle of life and death. This cycle has been central to Western painting for a long time and Mulders deliberately places himself in that tradition. For his exhibition at Piet Hein Eek, Van der Ploeg has been able to make a selection of works from the Van Abbemuseum collection that have been exhibited in the Van Abbemuseum vitrine. He has chosen the work of by Eugène Leroy called Emma de Los Angeles and Grape Leaves I by Ellsworth Kelly.
