With the exhibition With Pride IHLIA LGBT Heritage celebrates 40 years of LGBTQI+ archiving and activism through out the Netherlands and Europe. IHLIA is the International LGBT Heritage organisation. It is Europe’s biggest archive on homosexuality, bisexuality and trans issues that collects, documents and shares stories around sexuality, gender and the politics tied to it.

To celebrate this jubilee, IHLIA With Pride presents; a national campaign and exhibition in which themes from the struggle of the last forty years of the lgbtq movement are shown. An exhibition about activism and citizenship, from homosexuality to lgbtq, from discrimination to legal equality and a combative future. The series of exhibitions starts at the OBA Oosterdok,Public Library Amsterdam, which is also the home of IHLIA.

Here in Eindhoven, which has a long and strong history of LGBTQ activism, the small satelite exhibition shows documentation from events, festivals, actions and protests, mainly from the local organisation Roze driehoek

IHLIA LGBT Heritage, is an international archive and documentation center in Amsterdam with a socially relevant and indispensable collection on homosexuality, bisexuality and transgender. IHLIA is engaged in collecting and making information accessible in the lgbtq community. In 2018 IHLIA exists for forty years.
