Young Art Night #9 - ROM POM POM!
Young Art Night #9 ROM POM POM!
Ruffle the drum, bang the bongo's and smash the chimes - this Falls biggest party is just around the corner. It is that time of the year again. Get ready for the ninth edition of the YOUNG ART NIGHT.
On Saturday evening November 19 we’ll combine the lights of GLOW with the beats of the TROMP percussion festival. During these dark and cold days, the museum transforms into a beacon of light, fun, music and art. Hold your horses for the complete programme. It will come soon, we promise. Meanwhile, enjoy this sneak peek into the world of ROM POM POM.
@Dama Ramos will take you on a tropical adventure with her latin sound, groovy vocals and exotic beats. @Alexander Parade, described by Time Out as the ‘Mysterious Techno Titan’, will create a full on party experience, which is second to none. Be swooned by the musical poetry from @PingPongPoezië, their songs come straight from the hearts of these seven handsome gentlemen from Tilburg. Join Playgrounds experiment and discover the happy marriage between drums and electronic music.
Young artist Yvon Ariese shows her sculptures and Sofie van Esch portraits young ladies from the French banlieu. Sanne Vaassens installation sheds light - literally - on the unseen side of artworks and photographer Xavier Aaronson from @Babes at the Museum will bring a whole new meaning to the word babe.
All your senses will be tickled during this edition of the Young Art Night. This night will be All Inclusive: the deaf and hard of hearing, the blind and visually impaired are more than welcome. The complete programme for the Young Art Night will be announced soon! Keep an eye on this page.
