The Van Abbemuseum manages a large collection of images of works of art from the museum collection. In addition, there is an exhibition archive with room overviews of the exhibitions and the company archive (1936-1989). You can order reproductions and/or documents for both private and business purposes.

The images can be requested via bibliotheek@vanabbemuseum.nl or directly via the media bank. Do not forget to fill in the following information:

Image request purpose
Title artwork/exhibition
Artist Inventory number
Copyright and image rights

When using the material, mentioning the captions and the photographer is mandatory. There may be rights to the depicted works of art. As an applicant, you must contact Pictoright [Users - Pictoright] in the Netherlands, a similar institution abroad or the relevant stakeholder to arrange the right of use.
