Promotors

Since 1989, the Promotors Van Abbemuseum Foundation has been bringing together companies and private individuals who provide the museum with financial support.

The Promotors Foundation has already made many important exhibitions and acquisitions possible. Well-known examples are the Tapis de Sable by Marcel Broodthaers, the famous painting Proun P23, no. 6 by El Lissitzky and the bronze statue Listening Figure with Balcony by Juan Muñoz; as well as the exhibitions Eyewitnesses of conflict. Goya, Beuys, Dumas and Face to Face with Gustav Klimt.
