Description

For Hamish Fulton, walking is an art form, which he documents in photographs. A photograph of 'Mount Thor'' taken on a 130 km hike in the Canadian arctic shows the steepest rock face on Earth. His epic treks enable Fulton to free himself from everyday experience and standard thinking patterns. He thereby acquiesces to a slowing down of time, wherein landscape becomes meditative space.
