‘An oasis of calm, right in the middle of the city,’ is how one visitor described Karel 1 museumcafé. To the rear of the Van Abbemuseum you can find the museum cafe with its adjoining terrace. Here the river Dommel has been widened to form a unique ‘inner lake’ that is partly surrounded by the museum’s building.
Enjoy the view while you order something from the menu, which offers delicious cup of coffee, accessible lunch and good wines.
