Dan Perjovschi, a Romanian artist, used to live under the dictatorial regime of Nicolae Ceaușescu, which severely limited freedom of expression, travel and artistry. Now that the dictator is no longer in power, Perjovschi travels a lot for his work, and during his travels he looks intently and thinks critically about everything he encounters. He quickly captures his thoughts with a felt-tip pen. Now that our own freedom is limited, a felt-tip pen can be a creative tool in thinking about what you would like to do when you are completely free again.
