Singing manifestation - The Abbemuseum choir invites

On Thursday evening, June 29th between 19.00-20.30 the 6th singing event will take place in the tower of the van Abbemuseum near the exhibition of ‘Who owns the street’? Every 2 months the Van Abbemuseum choir organises a singing event where they invite guest singers and musicians.

What will this evening look like?

The subject of matter in the basement is a refugee camp, the theme on the first floor is protesting. The third floor represents Eindhoven as an open space.

GUESTS

De gasten van de avond zijn Keskedee, een wereldmuziekkoor uit Nuenen. Zij bestaan sinds 1996, en staan sinds mei 2011 onder leiding van dirigent Horst Rickels. Zij zingen a capella of worden begeleid door hun eigen percussie groep, ook treden zij op en hebben ook al een CD uitgebracht. Jaber Fayad, een udspeler uit Syrië zal ook als gast muzikant optreden en natuurlijk het van Abbemuseumkoor! Zij zingen liederen gerelateerd aan kunst.
