Description

'Light' is a lamp that travels an orbit in space, much like a satellite. Light and shadow constantly exchange places, emphasizing how this everyday object is made strange, disrupting and destabilizing our perspective. Can Altay wonders: ‘How do we accomodate to the system or spaces that we are born into? What are the limits that we take for granted?’ These are important questions as our world changes with increasing speed. With matter not necessarily what it appears to be, can this uncertainty be an opportunity to discover new possibilities?
