Feminist School Of Painting - Wapke Feenstra

The Feminist School of Painting is an ongoing project by artist Ad Minoliti that explores alternative approaches to art, painting and education through feminist, queer and interdisciplinary perspectives. In this session, artist and co-founder of Myvillages Wapke Feenstra invites you to look differently at landscape, both as an artistic genre and as lived land. How can we use our power to see landscapes as a way of caring for nature? Through close observation and drawing plants, you will slow down your looking and pay attention to details, relationships and forms that might otherwise remain unnoticed. Together, we will question familiar ways of seeing and knowing and create space for new perspectives.
