Grand Domestic Revolution Handbook is een compendium van veelzijdig onderzoek, uitgevoerd door kunstenaars, ontwerpers, theoretici, buren en activisten die de status van het huiselijke onderzoeken en de nauwe focus van privé-aangelegenheden vergroten. Het boek heeft de structuur van een handleiding voor huishoudelijk ontwerp uit de jaren zestig en bevat vele verschillende invalshoeken, zoals case studies, projectdocumentatie, efemere verschijnselen, analyse en theorie in de vorm van artistieke, collectieve en ruimtelijke designinterventies. Met de vijf hoofdstukken als kernachtige categorieën - Home Apparatus, Accomodations, Work at Home, Properties and Oikos en Neighboring (Organizing) - is een collectie van tekst en beeld geweven, die uit een gevarieerd en soms conflicterend samenstel van huishoudelijke tactieken, mechanieken van ontwrichting en politieke verstrikkingen bestaat, om je verbeelding aan te wakkeren en je eigen GDR-activiteiten te katalyseren. - Grand Domestic Revolution Handbook compiles investigations and living research into the concept of the home and the "domestic" by more than 25 artists, designers, theorists and activists.
