Kunstenaarsboek van de Roemeense kunstenaar Ion Grigorescu. - Publication aims to deepen, starting from Ion Grigorescu’srich artistic production, the reflection about the status of theimage as a balance of forces in tension (statics), as form anddesign of what is in continuous movement (rhythm) and asa paradoxical act of cancellation of the body through its ownrepresentation (oblivion). Grigorescu articulates his pictures from photography series and films as well as his writings and drawings, focusing on the idea of a body immediately transformed into an image because of its impossibilty to perform in front of a public during Ceausescu's regime.
