Tent. Sainsbury, Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, 14-10-2017, 11-02-2018. - Groepstentoonstelling onderzoek invloed en betekenis van de Russische avant-garde voor en na de Russische Revolutie. - Coll. VAM: Lissitzky, El, Die Vier Grundrechnungsarten, 1928 (herdruk / reprint 1976). - Radical Russia will show how in a few short years a new approach to art emerged. The exhibition includes pre-revolution works, showing the way in which Russian abstraction included specific Russian themes – especially relating to the Russian peasantry. The exhibition also includes a wide variety of objects, ranging from suprematist ceramics that utilised revolutionary symbolism, to book covers, which exemplify the unity between the written word and the visual arts.
